Rednal airfield is crossed by the Ironbridge-Legacy branch of the UK National Grid, a 400kV link between Deeside/North Wales with the West Midlands. Pylons ZZK072 & ZZK073 are on the East side of the ex-airfield, with another 4 adjacent pylons on land in the same ownership. The location and abundant space makes it ideal for a large-scale electrical storage and/or generation installation.
